Dear volleyball enthusiast,

From the 2027–2028 season onwards, VolleyAdmin2 (VA2) will have a successor. Volley Vlaanderen and the French-speaking volleyball federation, FVWB, are working together with PlayHQ, the company behind the new platform. The name under which we will use the system will be announced later.

With this shared platform, clubs and members across Belgium will use the same system from now on. The goal: to make administration simpler, bring information together and give clubs more time for volleyball.

Why a new platform?
Our sport is evolving, and its digital support needs to evolve with it. That is why we looked for a successor to VolleyAdmin2 that meets the current and future needs of our volleyball organisation. After a thorough selection process, guided by an independent party, PlayHQ was chosen as the partner.

What does this mean for you?
The new platform brings member management, competition management and club administration together in one place. As a club administrator, player, coach, referee or volunteer, you will have access to the information and functions that match your role.

The platform consists of two parts:
The federation tool replaces VolleyAdmin2. Here, you manage members’ and clubs’ administration for the federation, such as player lists and registrations for competitions.

The free club tool supports the club’s day-to-day operations. Think of practical communication and tracking attendance at training sessions and matches. Clubs can choose whether or not to use this component.

How will the transition work?
We will guide the community step by step. In the coming months, we will share more visuals and explanations, followed by demos, testing moments and training sessions. We will show what the new platform will mean for the different users.

We know there are also practical questions, for example about existing club software, transferring data and support during the transition. We will address these further in upcoming updates and share the concrete timeline leading up to the 2027–2028 season.

Together, we are taking the next step towards simpler administration and smoother club operations.
